Here is an awesome '69 Reissue U Serial MIJ (2010) Fender Mustang in factory Sonic Blue finish. Please refer to the 1st photo for accurate colour. It was hard to capture the colour in the rest and it ended up looking more green. It is definitely Sonic Blue! Anyway this is a beautiful looking 'stang. Like all MIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured body. It plays like a dream and looks killer. A great dense dark slab of rosewood for the fingerboard and some really nice grain patterns on the neck and back of headstock (see pics). She's in excellent condition with no mods or repairs. It even still has the plastic film over the pick guard and pick up covers. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically fine. It's clearly been very well cared for. There are no paint chips etc, it just has some light buckle rash on the back with a couple of light scratches through to the undercoat, really light thought (see pics). There is also a tiny black smudge below the vibrato plate but again, very minor stuff. Complete with gig bag and trem arm. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A very nice 1969 vintage specification Mustang in a pretty cool colour. No more Mustangs are being built by Fender in Japan since production was moved to Mexico to cut costs, so snap up these beautifully crafted guitars while you still can.
