Prosonic (Maya)were hand crafted instruments that were made in limited runs by some of the best Japanese luthiers and craftsmen and are considered by many guitarists and collectors to be superior to even American strats. This guitar is basically an EXACT replica of a 76' strat as far as neck profile and design goes. The ONLY difference being the four-bolt-neck. (Fender used a three bolt design) and it's lighter. Features include a beautiful maple neck and fingerboard. Two-piece body (not sure what type of wood). Matching Seymour Duncan high output, vintage pickups that came from an American strat. RWRP middle pickup. Custom wired with a push/pull tone pot for even more pickup combinations. Together with the 5-way pickup selector you can get ALL the basic strat tones PLUS all three pickups at once or even Telecaster neck & bridge option. Gold Wilkinson "top lock" tuning machines. Tailpiece is also high quality with the thick base type for plenty of added sustain and stability. This guitar is truly one-of-a-kind and you can feel the superior craftsmanship as soon as you wrap your hand around the neck! You WILL NOT be disappointed with anything. From the beautiful tonal range to the exceptional playability. The paint job is a very thin coat of copper coated with a thin coat of lacquer to retain the "crispness and snap".
