Fender Rare 1985 A-Serial Double Bound Candy Apple Red '62 Reissue Telecaster with USA Texas Special Pickups MIJThis old vintage post JV Tele is from 1985, and looks and feels awesome and you expect from a FujiGen built Fender. Time has been very kind to this one, with just subtle aging you want without anything bad happening to it. The binding has faded to a nice yellow and there is a dull grey patina all over the bridge plate and tuners. It looks amazing. It is a top of the line CAR Fender 62' RI Telecaster (TL62B). Double bound Alder body with USA Texas Special pups & white 3-ply pickguard. This is as good as it gets for Fender Japan Telecasters. No issues electrically or structurally. Neck nice and straight, plenty of life left in the frets, truss rod fine. Like I said she looks great with some vintage aging going on, just light playwear with a couple nicks & scuffs. The Fender stamped bridge plate is also stamped with the A-serial number as per usual for this post JV Fenders. Complete with gig-bag. Don't miss it, once she's gone she's gone.
