Galanti ''Grand Prix''These are very unusual and very rare guitars made in Italy during part of the sixties. It has a lovely reddish sunburst finish with a very unusually shaped white scratchplatewhich holds the two chromed pickups with volume and tone controls and fourpush button pickup selectors. (The very top corner of the scratchplate has been reglued). The bridge is fully adjustable and the tremolo tailpiece is all complete - the chromeworkis absolutely stunning. The neck is maple and bolted on with the neckplate stamped with the Galanti nameand serial number; and the headstock has a great shape to it and has the ''Galanti'' logoand the six covered tuners which are much like Van Ghent tuners. The fingerboard is rosewood and contains twenty-one frets with large white dot markers. This guitar is very rare and in an excellent condition in every way showing only a fewvery tiny marks at the bottom of the body.
