Selling my lovely 1979 Ibanez Artist 2622 Steve Miller, active EQ. Rare in wine red, most were in violin burst. Serial number F796804. Very nice condition but has the usual marks and rashes from playing and gigging. Plays very well, lovely ebony board. One of the velve tune machines is missing its back cover, but otherwise all complete and original. Super 80 flying fingers pickups sound amazing in passive mode too. EQ puts it in another dynamic completely, dimarzio super distortions on steriods, prob twice the output! but the EQ keeps it all bright, no muddy darkness, very versatile. Lovely balance. This is the last year of the slimmer body before the AR 500 came in.
Same as the ash body artist. Its the true transition guitar, the one to have, the character of the guitars changed from 79 into 80.. Non original case, but an interesting light one.
