Mystery 05 Pro Qbert Limited: At first glance this looks like a regular OG 05 PRO. But it's not, it's a Qbert Limited Edition in a color combo I have never seen. You will see that the balance controls and master volume are faders, not knobs. And the headphone pan has been moved from the bottom right, to the upper left. This mixer was released around 1997 in either all Gold, Red & Black or Blue & Black. I bought this from Japan. I’ve never seen this color combo before. It has a black topplate and a gold faceplate. It has no "orange oval" and no MIC output. The MIC output may have broken off, but if you look inside it looks like it may have been deleted. See pic. About 16 years ago I bought a Gold/Red 05 Qbert that apparently belonged to Shortkut (see last pic). This had modified wiring inside, probably from Vestax. I’m wondering if this MIC input is missing to make a cleaner signal? Maybe it was owned by someone who was sponsored by Vestax. I have no idea. But I believe that maybe this is the twin to the Gold/Red one I had 16 years ago. I’m guessing Shortkut and whoever owned this swapped topplates. You’ll see that the topplate on this one has white screenprinting, but the back has yellow sreenprinting (appropriate for the Gold/Gold version.) — Make sense?. I have owned many 05 Limiteds over the years and have NEVER seen this. This mixer is in amazing condition. I've taken pictures with and without flash to get as much detail as possible.
