UK BUYERS ONLY BUYERS WITH NEGATIVE OR NO FEEDBACK CONTACT ME FIRST GUITAR WILL BE SENT PARCEL FORCE 48HR WITH APPROPRIATE INSURANCE For sale is my much loved 2004 USA Gibson Les Paul Classic '1960' in what I would say was vintage sunburst, previous owner said tobacco.  A great guitar in great condition with no major knocks, dents or dings, it has been played but well looked after in my care and there have been no breaks or dropping incidents, there are a few minor dings but this is to be expected with a guitar this age. There are some minor chips around the headstock edges but again these are minor and of no issue to me, if you are unsure just let me know and I will gladly send pictures of any part of the guitar, internals included. The finish is in great condition apart from the usual swirling from keeping up with cleaning duties.  The metal work is tarnished from use, this would likely clean up a bit but I like it, the bridge pick up ring has a small crack in it and the screws are tarnished too. Considering how much people pay for Tom Murphy aged guitars, this just adds to the bargain, real wear! The pickups are Gibsons own and are marked accordingly on the underside with the Gibson logo, as are the pots, please see photos. The 1960 scratch plate is included as is the 'classic' truss cover, I'll leave the blank one in place. The OHSC is in great overall condition and latches up firmly and inline, the combination lock has never been used and the red factory tab is in place, the shroud cover is in great condition. There are marks on the case but again this is to be expected.  The only reason for sale is I just got myself an R8 and the wife says one in one out, I'll also be listing a telecaster soon too (under orders - just means space for an R9 one day I guess). This guitar has guts and with the ceramic pickups it has a real bite to it and it cleans up nicely too, the pickups are apparently the hottest Gibson have ever produced.  If you have any questions please just ask, I am happy to send photos and answers, buying these online can be daunting so just ask away.  The serial number is the ink stamped variety as they were back in the day and as they are on the reissue / historic models, its a nice touch as it's much nicer looking than the big stamp with made in the USA. There is no case candy. The guitar could probably use a set up, I like it as is but I'll always say get it done to your preference, it needs new strings, I won't change them but I'll include a set of 10's for you, I'll change them happily if you ask but I'll slacken them for transit. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like the guitar.
