1972 Fender Stratocaster hard tail! January of 72' birthday! Early 3 bolt with a nice tight neck pocket...no slop or movement.
Lots of natural player wear...has that 60's vintage vibe! Plays as well as my custom shop strats...light weight, tone filled alder body @ 7 lbs and 1.5 oz!
This thing is a tone machine!!! It rings like a bell and is very loud acoustically...you can feel the whole body vibrate when you play it!
Other than the replaced custom ordered Kinman noiseless vintage style pickups, pots, electronics and upgraded bridge saddles, the guitar appears original, no neck or structural issues.
The neck was re radiused professionally when re fretted.
Chunky "D" shaped neck plays like a dream...big bends are super easy!
Professionally set up. Between, the chunky neck and light weight alder body along with real steel saddles...this hard tail just rips!
Plenty of natural, real wear...lower horn edge has some weird deeper wood wear, but nothing that effects structure or playability of the guitar, just adds to the vibe.
