Ibanez George Benson GB-20 1980 1980 Ibanez GB-20 sunburst with serial: #D805899, a rare vintage Japanese 37 years old George Benson signature in Excellent condition. Very well crafted, it features beautiful maple back and sides and Spruce top, a 3-piece maple neck and bound ebony fingerboard with block Pearl inlays with an abalone centre piece, ebony bridge with ebony bridge foot with pearl arrow inlay, pickguard with original floating pickup, bound ebony peghead overlay, with original gold plated tuners. The only thing one could miss on a regular GB-20 is a tone-knob, to create that "honey" thick tone that Benson is known for, this one has an added tone-knob. It is in excellent condition with a few tiny dents on the top and back, and the binding around its pickguard came loose unfortunately, it is with the guitar.
