This is a Japanese made grand piano made for the American market. It has had almost no play. So, the action is like new. The finish is in beautiful condition with very slight fading on the fallboard. Otherwise the piano looks and plays like new. The G2 model is a formidable instrument. While only slightly longer than a baby grand, those few extra inches offer a richer playing experience. This is due to two factors The longer strings allow for a truer sound in the bass. The soundboard area is greater which enhances the tone throughout all registers of the piano. Yet, this piano can be placed nearly anyplace where a baby grand fits. If you appreciate the quality of a Japanese made Yamaha grand piano in nearly new condition and a gorgeous finish, this is a great piano for you.
