If you are reading this auction then you already know that the current company that owns the D'Angelico name doesn't make the Deluxe Production (DP) model. It was only the company circa 2007 that made it (they since sold to the name to a different company - thus no further DP's). I told myself I was NOT going to sell this guitar having recently reacquired it. However, I am simply not playing it as I thought I would. Also, I have another one in the amber color, so no sense in having 2! Time to pass this guitar on to another serious player! The guitar is in 9.5 out of 10 condition. There is only the slightest of playing wear. No scrapes, dings, gouges, or significant scratches. Also, no oxidation of any kind of the metal parts. The action is very low and smooth, and the extensive abalone inlay looks beautiful! All in all, a great guitar.
