A great playing and looking guitar..I think the body is from a 'classic strat ' player..it's a very pale blue colour which doesn't show well on the photo's. The neck is a really nice maple warmoth neck with the classic '70s style headstock fitted with the best machines heads ... The neck has a worn in look but there is absolute minimum fret wear so there is no buzzing..the action is good and it's very springy ..fitted with 11s at the moment..though takes 10s just as well with a bit of adjustment..
these necks are much better than fender standard USA necks as the neck tilt can be adjusted with an allen key by the underside cutaway..see picture.
The pick ups sound very good...recommend you come and try the guitar as I have some good amps here. The bridge and neck pick ups are gibson P90's (I also have the black pick up covers that they were in if you want them)..and there is a big boost when you switch to the middle pick up...a real fat strat single coil...the combinations are excellent with the 5 way selector switch. I really this is a bit of a one off guitar but despite many people have commented on it's looks and sound...only selling this and another strat on ebay as I'm cutting down as have a bit of hand cramp creeping into my left hand. Considering the neck price, pick-ups and machine heads I think £475 is fair...Also throwing in new hard foamed case with the guitar.Many thanks...buyer can arrange own courier if prefered but It's better you try the guitar before buying if possible.
