This is a hidden gem. I found this P Bass many years ago in a shop. It was all black and I knew it had been painted and bought it as a project. I took it down and too my surprise I saw hints of Lake Placid Blue! So over that summer I went to work on it slowly sanding it down section by section. Finished the neck and put it away and started on the body. Then I ran into a '66 and never touched the bass again. Neck is straight and Truss nut moves. On a side note, I believe this is a Custom Order of the 1980 Precision Bass Special. I base this on the fact that neck has a HIPSHOT tuner installed on the neck and the body has "Jim Dunlop Original STRAPLOK" guitar strap mounting system. You don't see a lot of those around. The paint has nice crazing across the face and the sanded-back primer from the black paint job really makes it stand out. The body and electronics are also listed and the tweed case that came with it will also be listed over the next few days...in case your interested.
