Supro 1507 Super singleThis is a lovely little blues player made in the USA in 1961 dated by the serial number on theback of the headstock. It is finished in cream and with a cream scratchplate lined in blackand showing the ''Supro'' logo. The single pickup with black surround is very powerful and there are volume and tonecontrols plus a rhythm/solo switch which doesn't appear to do a lot. The bridge isrosewood and adjustable and the tailpiece is the typical Supro model one, also used byother models from the States of a similar period. The neck is bolted on and contains a twenty fret rosewood fingerboard; and witha cream headstock with the three on a side tuners. It shows some finish checking and has a few hairline cracks in the wooden bodybut these are completely stable and not uncommon in these little models which have a twenty-two inch scale! Fabulous to play. This one comes in the original case which is complete but pretty worn.
