For those who like a bit of vintage flavor to go with their cutting edge instruments we proudly present the Suhr Classic Antique. This model features a distressed finish but the same tone & playability we love about Suhr guitars. This one weighs in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and nails all the vintage Strat tones. The compound radius fingerboard features 22 heavy frets that are PLEKed & hand dressed- the set up is every bit as good as the tone. The perfect frets & outstanding set up combine to make an almost unreal playing experience- notes come out from under the fingers fast & easy in a way that really defies description.The Classic is a nod to the iconic double cutaway shape that has embodied Rock and Blues music for decades. It retains the vintage vibe while adding modern improvements to meet the needs of today’s players. This one has a traditional alder body & basic burst finish but the sound & playability are everything one could hope for. From vintage quack to grinding blues and soaring lead tones the Classic really delivers. The Mike Landau model pickups provide all the sparkle one would expect from single coils but never sounds thin or wimpy.
