16" VIOLA ----- MAGGINI ------ Excellent condition, new ebony pegs, new ebony chin rest and new fine tuned bridge. Full size 4/4, the viola measures 26-3/4" long, the upper bout is 7-9/16", the lower bout is 9-3/8" and the back is 16". The label says: "Gio:Paolo Maggini in Brefcia." The tone is really good with a nice deep timbre and plenty of volume. There is a tiny finish blemish around the purfling on the back C-bout, please see last detail photo. The photos are clear and do tell all, a very nice viola. Very solid viola, no cracks or separations. Professionally set up and ready to play. Excellent viola at very reasonable price.
