Description Model: Vintage Size: Full Size Model Year: 2008 Country/Region of Manufacture: Korea, Republic of Body Color: White Dexterity: Right-Handed Brand: Gary Kramer Guitars (GKG) Body Type: Solid Items Included: Tremolo Arm Body Material: Solid Wood
This rare bird is an eye-catcher that garners a lot of positive comments! This GKG model was only produced in 2008 and rarely surfaces. This one is in excellent condition with nothing substantial to photograph. There are a few slight finish dimples along with some impressions around the rear tremolo cavity cover. It was purchased as brand new by the grandparents of a young kid who played it a few times within the infatuation window and then put it away. It’s never been gigged. The structural integrity is 100%, the neck is straight and true, the truss rod works as it should, etc. No issues at all. From an aesthetic, structural, and practical utility standpoint, this is a nice one. Here are the exact specifications: - 6 point bolt-on construction with zero neck shift - 25.5” scale - maple neck - 10” radius - bound ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets - real MOP block position inlays - fully bound and carved alder body - non-recessed gold-plated Lic. Floyd Rose + R-2 locking nut (42mm wide) - direct mounted alnico pickups with black metal covers - push/pull volume, push/pull tone, & 3-way toggle switch for an 8 sound combination switching system The Custom I carefully blends ‘80s tradition, classy features, Floyd Rose legacy and a touch of modern thinking. With the 8-combination switching system, you can crank out hi-gain beefy metal chops to warm smooth Jazz tones to Albert Lee chicken pick’n licks. It’s super versatile and is a real beauty to look at. This comes in a sizeable black tolex hardshell case with blue interior, white piping, and a large inner compartment with a single hook closure (for the inner compartment). The case looks to be a vintage Ibanez case from the late 70s/early 80s. It’s old, the center latch is off, but the outer 2 work just fine. Happy bidding!
