As pictured, the guitar has some serious Mojo! The 78 strats came with a nice thin poly finish that wears & discolours like a pre-cbs nitro finish would. This is a beautiful naturally road-worn guitar with tons of character! On the back there is quite obvious discolouration from what, we think, is years of playing in smoky bars & clubs. It has the classic arm wear that you would expect on a guitar of this age...this natural wear is highly simulated by the Fender Custom Shop today. There is minimal fret wear & the neck plays great! We believe the neck was once re-lacquered and the new lacquer has worn through in places. There are also two small drill holes in the pickguard as pictured below.Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
