Fender Lite Ash Telecaster 2006 Designed by Fender's Japanese Custom Shop and assembled under their guidance in Korea - this Japanese ash bodied Tele looks, sounds and feels like a very high end guitar. Guitar is in excellent condition with little to no wear and has evidently seen very little play. A stunning black finish body - maple neck and pearl scratchplate and chrome vintage hardware. Modelled around a '52 Tele the Lite Ash is tonally more versatile than a standard Tele with a highly resonant body and is lighter in weight - making it very comfortable to play. The neck - WOW! This is Custom Shop quality. A beautiful Birdseye maple neck featuring jumbo frets. Little to no fret wear - and perfectly clean with no dinks/damage. Profile is very comfortable in the hand with a silky (not sticky) finish. The Seymour Duncan APTL-1 Alnico II bridge pickup has a great detailed treble response - great for everything from Blues to Country, rock and funk. The APTR-1 Alnico II Pro in the neck is warm and gives a great balance in tone. A cracking set of pickups - wired to a standard Tele setup of 1 volume and tone and a 3-way selector.
