The stereo sound is superb at home but honestly you won't drag two amps to your next gig so just judge her on that distinctive sound. No guitar has felt more natural in body shape. I like the light 0.10 Guage on her to get the ric sound plus a little more bend than she will normally give. It's a trade off because you lose some roundness of sound but that's true with any guitar. You know how many guitars that aren't new have micro scratches on the finish just like cars that don't use the brushless wash. This finish is shiny smooth.Rickenbacker is the only USA guitar maker that has never used overseas manufacturing to produce their guitars more cheaply. You can rely on consistent quality and sound. All of the specs are available online and there is nothing special about those more highly priced. The only issue with this guitar is two minor discolorations on the binding only where it rests on the guitar stand (see pics). I haven't tried to remove them. The original hard shell case is included.
