Estimated price for orientation: 580 $
Category: Electric Guitar
Class:
Description
This is a Made in Japan fender TL52 telecaster. This guitar as I am sure most of you know is based upon Keith Richards famous 'micawaber' telecaster with the humbucker in the neck position . The build quality of the guitar is first class as you would expect for a Japanese made fender. Basically as high quality as an American made & arguably more rare. The basic specs are: 21 medium frets
7.25 radius board (vintage spec - just like Keith's)
Proper Bakelite pick guard - very nice quality and thick
Modern six saddle gotoh bridge - again like Keith's but this one has a chrome plating over the brass & the 'E' saddle remains!
High quality gotoh tuners
Humbucker in neck position (which I have reversed myself - easy change if you want it the right way around)
Standard tele bridge pickup.
I have put schaller strap locks on the guitar & will supply a nice fender strap with the locks fitted to the strap . It's an excellent telecaster & obviously a must for a Keith Richards fan - however even if you are not this type of telecaster is in my humble opinion the coolest telecaster there is and therefore one of the coolest guitars there is - I personally love the versitality of the humbucker In neck position too. The guitar was bout around 8months ago brand new from guitar guitar for £780 & it is actually quite a rare thing for these guitars to be available to buy new from a UK guitar shop. It is in immaculate condition & I am ashamed to say has not been gigged. I am only selling to offset the cost of a new strat I got that can been seen in the neck plate image of this guitar! For whatever reason fender Japan guitars do not come with cases. However I will get a box to post the guitar if you cannot collect in person & I have posted - no lie maybe 50 guitars in my time (I am not a shop just a hobby guitarist like you) - I have never an issue with any guitar I have posted to rest at peace if you need it posting. I know what I am doing & this is a telecaster it will outlive us both! I have the white strat switch tip fitted but it will come with the standard telecaster switch tip too if you prefer that one? Best of luck.
