Great pair of vintage FACTORY MATCHED, sequential serial number, BLACK LABEL 2002 15" Sound edge Hi-Hats manufactured in 1976. Both have the embossed 2002 logo only seen on the vintage Paiste cymbals. These old black label versions have a bottom hat with a higher number and a sharper more pronounced shape on the "scallops" than the new modern version they have been making for few decades. There is a reason everybody wants the old 15" sound edge version. Spend a few more bucks and get that true classic rock and Bonham Zeppelin sound with a desirable vintage pair that only keep rising in value. Expect some wear due to the 35+ years on these hats. Most guys play these beautiful Hi-hats and don't let them sit in cases. Great quality. Great shape with a little 40 year old Patina but ink stamps are still there. The top hat hole is slightly oblong but plays fine and not noticeable when mounted. See my other upcoming auctions for some rare and desirable old Paiste cymbals.
