Beautiful, clean, and original Style 1 Ditson ukulele made by CF Martin for the Ditson store in Boston, Mass. Made between 1922 and 1924 with original hard case and original wooden peg tuners. Collector grade condition with no repairs ever made, no cracks or issues. One of only about 200 ever made in this style and shape and this has to be one of the nicest surviving examples. Stamped "Oliver Ditson Co New York Boston" on the back of the headstock and inside the soundhole. Plays great with a beautiful sound. A rare gem from Martin's golden era of ukulele production.
