| "The AR is a classic among Ibanez guitars. It was one of the first original designs produced by Ibanez and continues to be a sought after guitar. The AR series continues that legacy with pride."This guitar is waiting for a home in consumer hands! It is lightly stamped “S" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the guitar has a minor cosmetic blemish. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This particular guitar has a few very faint polish scratches on the top, which are only visible when caught at the right angle under bright lighting. There is a pair of penpoint-sized scuffs in the clearcoat on the top, which again are only visible from certain angles but slightly more easy to spot. I was able to capture these in a close-up photo. Lastly, there are some small tarnish spots on the gold pickup covers and tailpiece. I have included a close-up photo of this as well. Aside from what I have described, this guitar is in flawless condition. This guitar has a beautiful neck and plays very nicely across all frets without any buzz. The Super 80 pickups are very musical and have no problem going from fat and clean to punchy and dirty depending on your amp/pedal settings. Clarity prevails throughout. Adding to the inherent versatility of the pickups, the guitar features two “Tri-Sound” switches that give independent control for each pickup through parallel, series, and single-coil modes. The Ibanez hardshell case is brand new and included.
