Jackson           SoloistI was lucky enough to secure an empty basswood/maple SLX body for a project I have been planning for some time. I chose the SLX obviously for the color but also because the only limitation on these guitars is the hardware. The bodies are actually very nice and well built.  However, if you are reading this it's probably due to the graphics. They are one of a kind applied by myself using a vinyl set originally intended to be applied to a vehicle exterior. I purchased the set some time ago as they are long gone and no longer produced. As soon as I saw these graphics I immediately purchased the graphics with the sole intention of building a guitar. Ive been playing Jackson's since the 80's so it was my only choice and they made it easy for me when they came out with the SLX in the perfect color! Well it's finally done and has been played ONLY to test the electronics and also to tune. Other than that it's a Brand New Guitar! The pickups were purchased NOS and have a slight discoloring in parts. The pickup cavities are shielded with paint & the electronics cavity is shielded with paint AND Copper Tape. And of coarse when I took the bar off to put it in the case it up and walked away. if I have trouble locating it I will send an OFR bar with it. Also, the body was received with a very small indent on the head stock. It wouldn't even come out in the pics. Its not missing paint or anything but needed to be stated none the less. Also, after three attempts at the proper cavity colors I was forced to make my own. they are constructed from clear plexi and painted beneath to achieve the correct look. Finished off with a copper shield to also protect from scratches. The graphics are of very high quality meant to be affixed to a moving vehicle. So with care should last the lifetime of the guitar... I assure you the was not cheap! Its going to hurt to see this one go as I have been a DEDICATED Steeler fan since the early 70's. But I need to fund a trip in April and it's this or my '87 Model 6 I have owned since NEW. You can see why I was forced to part with this one. I am going to list it locally so if it's missing I was sold else where.I have yet to purchase a hard case for it so it will ship in the soft Charvel case it is currently stored in. Im not big on shipping guitars the ones I do are packed to make the journey a safe one. I do not accept returns but please take a moment to review my feedback to ease any concerns you might have and I will try to answer any questions as quickly as possible. Thanks for looking... STEELER FOOTBALL RULES!*Please disregard ebay's "detailed info" referring to the Jackson SLX and use the above info for a detailed description.
