Fenton Weill/Burns DallasMade in England c.1960/1, the Dallas was originally a joint effort between Weill and Burns - Burns producing the mahogany body and neck - very similar to early Burns guitars, and Weillthe electrics with pickups looking exactly like early Fenton Weill guitars. It has two pickups with a three-way switch with two volume controls and one tone. For some unknown reason the tops of the knobs and switch have been painted cream/white. The wooden bridge is adjustable and the tailpiece is the original tremolo model; it comes with a tremolo arm which is not original and doesn't fit well. The neck is fitted with the original twenty-one fret maple fingerboard and the headstock hastwo replacement tuners - in the hardcase there is one original tuner and an old guitar/ampcable. The body has been stripped from the original red with black neck, but it looks good as it is and all works well. It comes with a hardcase which may be the original one.
