Vintage 1960 Silvertone 1419L Danelectro U-1 Dolphin Nosed Guitar made in USAThis is a Danelectro made Silvertone badged guitar. This would be the equivalent of a Danelectro U-1 but badged as Silvertone and sold through Sears. Guitar has nice Black finish, Single lipstick pickup, Volume and tone controls with a 3 way tone switch (activated when tone knob is set all the way to bass tones). Very nice condition for a 56 year old guitar. A few little dings, scratches, paint chips etc, but very presentable. Neck is straight. Action is low and can be adjusted lower or higher to taste. Set up with a new set of D'Addario strings. Beautiful crisp, clear tones from this guitar. The only thing missing is the tail end strap but which can be replaced easily enough.
