FOR SALERKS USA Original Hollowbody in Ocean Pearl (not to be confused with the RKS Wave which was a lower range model)Built around June 2006 in California, USA, these guitars were only made for about 4 years in the USA. The company went bust during the US financial crash in 2007/8. This is one of the high end models they did and retailed 10 years ago for over £1800It is in MINT NOS condition. The case has a slight scrape and a few marks but nothing to fuss about, was already done when I got the guitar back in 2008.
I have owned this guitar from new, it is of absolutely superb build quality, hand made in California. Very unusual, but if you play one, you will get it.It is a true boutique guitar and very rare now, especially in this condition.
Bought by myself as a future collectible, it has never been gigged and I have decided to let this go as I am back on the live circuit and I do not want to have guitars under the bed doing nothing.Some basics - Sperzel Locking Tuners, 5 way selector for coil tapping, 1 Vol / 1 Tone, DiMarzio Pickups (as I have researched, officially RKS Custom Humbuckers), flame maple neck, rosewood board, Om fret markers, 25.5 scale length. Case Candy and COA included. The nickel pickup covers have tarnished slightly with age.I have a lot of information I can share with any prospective buyer so if anyone is interested please contact me on 07800 922946 for more details.
