Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster 2005 Fender Custom Shop Blonde 51 Nocaster Relic made in 2005. The Fender Telecaster was originally named the Broadcaster, but because of a conflict with Gretsch, who had out a drumkit named Broadkaster, Fender was forced to drop that name. Leo Fender had a lot of decals left and clipped of the Broadcaster name and just put on "Fender" without a model name. Collector's started to call them Nocasters and the name stuck. This guitar is a faithful recreation of the guitars fender produced in that era and was build by the Fender Custom shop to create the feel of an authentic guitar from that era. It comes with the original tweed "thermometer" case and (newer!!) certificate of authenticity.Model Features:Body Shape Telecaster Body Ash Top x Finish Butterscotch Neck Maple Neck Shape U Fretboard Maple Fretboard Radius 7.25" Bridge Telecaster 3-saddle Tailpiece x Scale Length 648mm (25 1/2") Nutwidth 43mm (1 11/16") Weight 3.4kg Tuners Kluson Style Pickups Handwound single coils Travels in Original Hardshell Case Remarks Used guitar with 1 year guarantee
