Ibanez Artist 12 stringThis is a lovely and rare Ibanez Artist 12 string electric guitar which was made inJapan in 1978 model 2618/12The top of the body is in ''antique violin'' finish and bound, and the sides, back and neck havea mahogany finish.There are two ''Flying Fingers Super Single coil pickups with engraved pickup covers, with cream surrounds and each with volume and tone controls plus a two-way switch which is not original anda three-way pickup selector switch. The hardware is all in gold, including the Ibanez tune-o-matic style bridge and the Ibaneztriangular tailpiece.The neck is glued in and the ebony fingerboard contains twenty-four frets with abalone.dot markers. The headstock is black fronted and holds the six on a side Ibanez ''patent pending''tuners, ''Ibanez'' inlaid logo and the ''Artist'' name on the truss rod cover.This is a very rare model in a very good condition - there is one small chip in the finishon the top of the body and little else. It is fully working and is a pleasure to play.It comes with a period hardcase but not the correct one.(Any questions please feel free to call on 07544 887582.)
