1920s Ludwig 'All Metal' Model Snare Drum : 4 x 14 Beautiful 1920s Ludwig "All Round / All Metal" 4 x 14 Snare Drum. This drum is the legendary 2 piece nickel over brass shell that made the Black Beauty famous. This particular model is the same drum without the engraving and gold plating, making this a more affordable option to achieve that great Ludwig vintage sound. This drum has been outfitted with newer single flange hoops and claws. Typically, these drums came with brass claws that would break under too much tension. This drum is so clean, that it matches the newer hoops and clips perfectly. ALL of the other parts are original to the drum including the tube lugs, tension rods, strainer and butt plate. There are NO modifications or extra holes in the drum. A set of Fat Cat snares are installed, making this drum ready to hit the stage!Feel free to email with any questions.
