Description Type: Vintage Preamp
Vintage 1981 AudioMatrix Rack 4T, 6-stage guitar tube preamp by BK Butler RARE!OK, this is a vintage very rare unit! Created & designed by BK Butler, who
is the creator of the famous Tube Driver pedal used by Eric Johnson
& David Gilmour, and was put out by his then company Audio Matrix. Only a handful of these units were made. They have the look of a Mesa
Boogie rack unit, yet have a sound that is a cross between a Marshall
and a Mesa Boogie, with a little Tube Driver cream & sustain on top.
Paired with the right tube power amp, such as Mesa Boogie Simul-Class
50 or 90, or a VHT 2/50/2 or 2/90/2, or a Marshall rack power amp, this
preamp screams! Features 2 channels (rhythm & lead), two 12AX7 tubes, low-boost
switch, high-boost switch, remote footswitch jack, high/low outputs,
front & rear input jacks, effects loop, reverb control, and is
signed & autographed by BK Bulter inside the unit!
