This is a listing for a rare '77 les Paul deluxe it has recently been professionally set up. The action is nice and smooth and is very buttery to play. Tone is great as you would expect and has a much wider range of tone compared to a standard deluxe of this era. It is all original except the previous owner upgraded the tuners to really nice Schallers and also changed the bridge mini hum bucker to a full wide range Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Humbucker ! This give it much more tonal options and makes for a very unique and high quality guitar. It has a lovely weight and I love of the combination of both pickups very rich much more distinct than standard les pauls of this era. Finish is wine red and classy, really nice grain in the wood. The body is mahogany pancake construction and the neck is 3 piece maple. There also was once an extra switch which has now been removed and considerately filled. Great Les Paul tone from the 70's without the huge price ! Finish has marks here and there as you would expect of a guitar of this vintage, see pictures. But all proper playing wear that some people pay thousands to replicate in 'custom shops' ! Just buy an original.. The black and pink lined case is totally original with all latches working, has certainly seen some action but is fully functional and very cool. This guitar will make someone very happy I am sure.
