For sale is a beautiful vintage Japanese Guitar from Aria. This model, the Diamond series 1532T, was manufactured in Japan's famed Matsumoku factory and was introduced in 1968. Sold under many different names such as Howard, Commodore, Luxor and even Univox, this instrument took stylings from Fender's offset guitars of the era and made them even funkier. It's angular body shape is a sight to behold, and certainly gives you a unique stage aesthetic. Tonally this guitar has excellent cleans, with dark and bassy tones from the neck pickup and chimey bell like cleans in the bridge. When met with some overdriven or distortion it really sings! Cosmetically it's in fair to good shape, with typical play marks and dings as well as some chewed up spots on the corners and some initials scratched on the back. This guitar is in great playing condition, with good action and a very straight neck. This is a funky vintage guitar with tons of mojo and great playability.
