Kalamazoo KG-31 1935-1939 The Kalamazoo brand of intsruments would turn out to be the most successful of Gibson's in-house brands, manufacturing guitars, banjos, mandolins, mandolas, mando-cellos, mando-basses, and the entire violin family of instruments from 1933-1942. The Kalamazoo brand was succesfully marketed as flyers stated: "The World's Greatest Value".This is a KG-31, the Gibson L-50 equivalent of Kalamazoo. It features a 16" body with a spruce top and brown mahogany back and sides. These are great little guitars for the acoustic stuff, very well suited for jazz comping, or even slide guitar. This one is in excellent condition, it has been used a lot over the years, but that just adds to its vintage character!. It still has its original open geared, 3-on-a-plate tuners and Rosewood adjustable bridge.  Model Features:
