Stupid Rare Guitar ... 1981 Gibson The "V" ... Made in Kalamazoo Mich. .. The 37th The "V" ever Produced ... there have been question wether they made these in 81 so heres your answer ... beautiful flamed maple cap with a dark tabacco burst finish ... its hard to stop looking at .... guitar is in great shape ... all binding is in tact ... ebonby fretboard ... frets are only showing minor wear .... see the photos of the pickups ... ive have several people look and are saying these are early shaws .... each is stamped with just a number as photos show ... they do look to have been pulled and re-installed at some point and is possible they are not original to the guitar ... but still !! ... all tuners work as they should ... the case is original and is beat up ...inside looks good outside looks bad ... tolex is missing on the bottom portion of the V and wood is cracked and loose ... could use some repair ... see all pictures !!! ... its a rare guitar in pretty good shape ...
