Well I didnt think I would ever do it but the need has finally hit.Today I am selling a guitar I purchased for my birthday in 1977 from Marietta Music Center in beautiful downtown Marietta,Georgia.This is a 1977 Gibson S-1 Marauder in sunburst.Looks like 1 side of the 2 piece top is even a quilt top.This guitar is in excellent condition.Like previously stated I purchased new and within 4 months of buying it I had a Gibson Black Beauty Les Paul virtually handed to me.This guitar was pretty much put in a case and probably hadnt seen 2 hours of playing time since.I dont have scales that it can sit on but this guitar is 1970s Les Paul heavy.Overall in great shape with just a few faint scratches if you hold the guitar at a 45 degree angle to a light source and a couple of nicks that I have pictured.It has Mother of Pearl inlaid dots,tuning keys look great.Jumbo frets have minimal wear and a ton of life left.Guitar is missing original tone selector knob so I replaced with an appropriate one.Serial number denotes this guitar as being made Oct 6th,1977 in Kalamazoo,Michigan.I am not selling guitar with a case although I have an acoustic one it will fit in.Just pay the extra shipping and you can have it.Shipping is $40.00 in the United States.International shipping is available but please message first as all countries have different size and weight limits as well as different rates.This way I can give an exact shipping quote.
