This instrument is a Used Model in Very Good Plus Cosmetic Condition and in Perfect Playing Condition. On this one, there is a finish deterioration on the body (see 13th picture) and some cracks on the headstock and neck (see 14th and 15th pictures). Also, there are several scratches, small notches and dents here and there (see 16th to 29th pictures), but nothing really major. Unit comes in a Hardshell Case. 1996 GIBSON NIGHTHAWK SP3 (SPECIAL/THREE PICKUP) History is in the making with the introduction of the new Gibson Nighthawk guitar. Immediately recognized as the most versatile guitar since the introduction of the Gibson M-III, the Nighthawk adds a "Classic" look to Gibson's Designer Collection. With the introduction of the Nighthawk SP3, Gibson has taken the tonal capabilities of the Nighthawk one step further. Never before has a guitarist had ten different tonal capabilities available in such a simple switching mechanism. The Nighthawk SP3 encompasses all of the features of the Nighthawk ST3 at a cost the "no frills" guitarist desires. Its 1/4" maple cap and solid mahogany back ensure a crisp "chicken pickin" tone from the newly enhanced M-Series pickups. Ease of use is ensured by the simple five-way switching system and push-pull pot. These two mechanisms allow quick access to ten different usable sounds!
