It comes with a solid Korina wood body. Not the norm for an instrument at this price level. The body has a gloss Gun Metal Grey finish. This is a new finish for 2017 and it looks absolutely amazing! A real metallic flake which pops when the light catches it. The 25.5" Maple neck and Maple fretboard have been bolted on. Locking machine heads also feature on the Charger HB. The bridge is a Tonepros with a Stoptail. Again, this is great tried and tested hardware. Great for sustain and tuning stability. Two humbucker pickups and Bass Contour. The Reverend Charger HB Gunmetal Grey fires on all cylinders. The two humbucker pickups are Special Design. The bridge has slightly more output than a vintage PAF. The neck position delivers more clarity. They have been wired to a three way switch. What really makes the Charger HB versatile is the Bass Contour control. This rolls off a particular frequency of bass. It thins out the sound gradually. Almost like a coil tap but with more versatility. You also get a master tone and volume.
