You are looking at a 1977 Carvin DT650 Double Neck Guitar. This is a 6 / 12-String electric guitar. The 6-String is on the bottom and the 12-String is on the top. The body shape is somewhat similar to a Les Paul. Built from 1977 to1978, the double necks are a very rare guitar. Carvin guitars are built in San Diego, CA USA. They are sold factory direct and are basically affordable High Quality Custom Shop Guitars made completely in the USA. This DT650 plays and sounds great! Perfect for those occasional songs that require a 12-string and a 6-string. (Think Stairway).Solid Eastern Hard Rock Maple Body & Neck. 22 Frets. Carvin APH-6S Humbucker Pickups with Coil Tap Switches. This DT650 is in the optional custom black finish. Sustains FOREVER! Tone is off the Chart!These do not come along very often. The Pickguard is missing for the 12-String. Front is very clean. The back has some very light buckle rash scratches. Neck, Fretboard and Headstock in great shape. Original Case in Great Shape. A few scratches, scuffs and minor tears in the tolex. Cool Orange Felt Interior. All latches work. Dripping with "Mojo" Overall, Excellent condition. It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
