Here we go, this is an RGA prototype guitar. I acquired it whilst endorsed with Ibanez as an oddity. The model has active pickups, JCraft made neck, 24 frets. Neck is thin, wizard like. Basically the same spec as the top of the line RGA they had circa 2011-2012 or so. Body is mahogany, bolt on maple neck with rosewood fretboardIt was built in 2009, and the interesting thing about it is that they built it with the s series zero rocker bridge instead of the edge zero the production models shipped with. In my opinion the trem is way smoother, and doesn't suffer the annoying bits the edge zero does, in short, it's a great unit, stays in tune superbly, and is really smooth when diving and pulling up. Basically, this is as far as I know a one of a kind. It would have been built for artists to try out, and to give feedback on. You will not have seen another like this, nor will you see one again.Condition wise this is mint. Never left the house. It was meant to be a touring guitar, but neck surgery kind of stopped that in it's tracks. I am the only owner I know of, and have had it since about 2012 or so.Guitar will come with moulded ibanez case, and tremelo bar.Important Note:
- Due to new CITES regulations on the import/export of all rosewood postage outside the UK includes a 60£ surcharge as I will need to obtain an export certificate for the guitar. This is completely unavoidable. This if for US only. For EU the amount will be refunded unless the guitar is bought after the regulations come into effect in February.
- For export to the US I cannot obtain this until it comes into force in february, so there will be a delay in shipping to the US.
- CITES regulation does not apply to shipping within the UK (or the EU until early/mid february)
