Martin GT-75 12-string Hollowbody 1967 A very special treat just arrived in the shape of this Martin GT-75 12-string electric guitar. A very rare find indeed, the Martin GT-75-12 was the 12 string version of the GT-75, made in 1967 only. The GT-75-12 was also Martin’s only 12 string electric guitar. To fit the additional tuners the GT-75-12 has a elongated headstock - of different style to the GT-75 and GT-70. All GT-75-12s had red finish and the Bigsby vibrato was not an option. Martin factory archives only noted three of these 12 strings, although they were probably made in greater numbers than this. The guitar features a double cutaway design, laminated maple body with bolt-on mahogany neck, bound rosewood fretboard, pearl dot inlays, kluson 6-per-side tuners, M-stamped DeArmond pickups, tune-o-matic style bridge and trapeze tailpiece. Condition is excellent, no technical issues, the top of the headstock has some overspray, light weather checking in the finish and some wear in the finish primarily on the back of the instrument. Includes non-original hardshell case.
