Here is an killer '69 Reissue S Serial MIJ (2005-06) Fender Mustang in factory finished Vintage White (VWH) finish with blue Competition Stripes and matching VWH headstock. This really is a beautiful looking 'stang in hard to find colours. Like all MIJ Mustangs it's true to the vintage Fender spec, with the '69 contoured poplar body, maple neck & rosewood fingerboard, Fender stamped neck plate, white button tuners & white 3-ply pickguard. It plays like a dream and looks killer. A great dense dark slab of rosewood for the fingerboard and some really nice grain patterns on the neck and back of headstock (see pics). There are no mods, breaks or repairs. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically fine. It is pre-loved so not mint. it's got a few battle scars, the most noticeable being a paint chip just above the pickguard (pics). There is also an area that's been touched up by the previous owner and some light scuffing on the headstock. Complete with gig bag and trem arm. Built immaculately as you'd expect from Fender Japan. A very nice 1969 vintage specification Mustang in a pretty rare colours. No more Mustangs are being built by Fender in Japan since production was moved to Mexico to cut costs, so snap up these beautifully crafted guitars while you still can.
