For sale is my vintage fender Stratocaster, serial number dates it to 1979. It will be safely packaged for courier and fully insured. It will be sent in a hardcase. I have owned it for 6 months or so and bought it from the man who bought it new from the shop! It's a great guitar but I just feel I am best suited to gibsons. Due to age there is various marks as expected but no cracks or anything to effect play. It is in a very rare colour, I have been told it was a limited colour release at that time but have no proof of that, I can only describe it as a dark wine, the grain can be seen through it. Really looks fantastic and the photos don't do it justice. The only thing I am aware of not being original is the scratch plate and one pickup, not sure about the rest. It also seems like the bridge has been fixed in some way as it does not wobble with the trem bar, I have read that many people used to do this so should be easy enough to return to normal. I have tried to capture as much in the photos as possible but if there is any questions please ask. Happy bidding
