For sale is this 2014 Gibson ES-339 Studio in high-gloss Ginger Burst. Do not be fooled by the “Studio” designation…this is all Gibson, and was built in the Memphis factory alongside all of the other beautiful hollowbodies that have helped earn their stellar reputation. Loaded with a 57 Classic in the neck and a Super 57 in the bridge, this 339 has plenty of bark to go with it’s bite! The quartersawn maple neck has a 17-degree headstock angle, and the 3-ply maple top and back sandwich a solid maple tone block to increase sustain while decreasing feedback! Traditional C-shaped neck profile, 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, 24.75” scale length, and 1.675” at the nut makes this guitar a breeze to play! This Gibson has also been equipped with a 0.016mF neck pickup capacitor to help minimize treble cut. As with all guitars from the Memphis factory, this ES-339 Studio was given the Plek Pro Setup that results in razor-sharp intonation and gives the guitar a feeling of “playing itself”. Absolutely incredible value in this guitar! It has been played and shows very minor signs of use (minor swirling, finish scuff on the back of the neck - see detailed photos), but is in overall EXCELLENT condition. Comes with pink plush Gibson Midtown case, which is slightly too big but holds the guitar fine with only ~1cm of play.
