This is another guitar thatyou can't get in the UK. They were built for thedomestic market only and were factory fittedwith Fender USA Texas Special pickups. Theguitar had a couple of very small dents (now repaired) which Iwill show. There is no fretwear and theguitar plays beautifully As stated many times, due to courier damage, all my guitars are shipped in hard cases (usually new) this one being a plain black one. I do have a tweed option but these are a little dearer. If you prefer that, please email me for details. If you are collecting, I'm happy to knock off the price of the case (About £30) & I may even have an old gig bag you can have to take it away in

Great attention to detail & right up there with a USA version (IMO) Some surface rust on the staggered pole pieces but the guitar has been well cared for
Classic headstock shape & transfer. Note the ageing on the neck. Tuners are vintage Fender Kluson. Work very well. As it's a '62RI, the trussrod is adjusted at the heel
A look under the scratchplate shows us the yellow & black cloth covered wiring confirming the US made Fender Texas Special pickups which sound awesome ! The back is near perfect with no dents, scratches or bumps that I can find
Any marks are reflections Nice & reassuring "Made in Japan" stamp at the heel of the neck. The serial number confirms the date of manufacture as 2010/12Nice smooth shaping of the headstock & abetter chance to see the aged neck. There was a dent hear on the front that I havefilled, smoothed & polished. It is just aboutvisible but smooth to the touch There is a minor dent in the paintwork here.Barely noticeable but needs to be pointed out So, to sum up. An excellent reissue from Fender Japan with a great set of pickups. A little dearer than some of my other imports but it is a beauty! You can buy a MIM model a bit cheaper but I think they are inferior & have cheaper pickups fitted.
