Fender Jazzmaster with Squier neck

This is guitar was a project. The body is swamp ash from b.hefner.com (a licensed fender dealer). The pickups are American Vintage 65 Fender Jazzmaster reissues. The vibrato is Fender, the pots are CTS (wired like a standard American Jazzmaster, custom white witch hat volume and tone controls, and a custom color paint job done by a local body shop. Matching head stock with a fender logo. The neck is from a Squier Jazzmaster and is sanded smooth on the back with tongue oil added for protection. The Squier neck adds convenience of access to the truss rod. The fret edges have been smoothed and polished. Plays and sounds great! Only a couple blemishes. There are scratches on the pick guard by the toggle switch and a little nick in the paint just below that. (See close up picture). I doubt I'll make my money back on this one but it was fun to design. I need some cash for another guitar so it's time to let it go! This is a great deal. Guitar only, strap and case not included. Thanks!
