Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster Custom This guitar has been well used and well loved. Any wear or tear is from playing out on tour, traveling, and regular playing around the house. I am not the original owner, but have had this guitar for around 8 years. The guitar features a custom wood-burn design in the form of a dove that I let my cousin make. I love it, but understand if you might not. There is also a spot on the back of the body near the neck where my cousin tested his wood-burner to see how it would burn through the paint and wood (see in photo). The neck pick-up is fender's humbucker and the bridge is a hot rail that does not come standard (it was on the guitar when I purchased it). Because of this, I imagined the previous owner who put the hotrail in also is the reason there is a hole drilled in the pick guard by the volume and tone knobs (has never affected anything with the guitar). I have opened the pick guard once (about 5 years ago) to add some copper plating to help with grounding issues (it was successful). The pick-up selector has begun to crackle sometimes when moved when the guitar is plugged in, so that will most likely need to be replaced (although it is fully functional). There currently is some crackling when strumming every so often when really overdriven through my tube amp, but again, a new pick-up selector would solve that. This guitar has been so good to me, and I'm sad to see it go...but since having a kid it just doesn't get played like it used to. It deserves a good home and someone to love it! I have a hard case I am pretty attached to, but would consider adding in for a few extra bucks. Just message me! I am located in central Indiana, so if you live within an hour or two I am open to local pick-up or even meeting if it seems feasible.
