So that the problem can be resolved. thenextitemwehaveontheblockis!!!!!!!! Trader-BOB's MUSIC on facebook offers a 1966 Kalamazoo, model KG-1 Sonic Blue 6 string electric guitar. Serial number 590000. There is no "Made in USA" stamp on the headstock. According to two different websites, this 59XXXX serial number series was never issued, or used, in the 1960's. The highest 580999, was 1969. Then another site claims by this serial number, it was made in 1974-1975. Then The 500K pots, both made by Mepco / Central lab date, 43rd week of 1965, (late October), and 03rd week of 1966, (mid/late January). Was this the last KG-1 made? This was sold new, at the Charles Boldt Music Co. they had two stores, one in Pierre, and one in Mobridge South Dakota. Outstanding condition for it's age. A few little wear marks / scratches, waaay above the average, physical condition. The plastic pickguard has a crack, going south from the volume pot mount, 1-1/2" long. Also the right upper point of the pickguard mounting screw has pushed part of the point, causing a small crack. Single melody maker pickup, 500k pots, volume, and tone, both smooth and silent. 22 fret trussrod adjustable neck, is straight, .002" neck relief, (the trussrod nut is lightly seated against the washer, very minimal torque applied). .100" string action height. There is some light finish wear around the crown of the headstock, maybe from being carried in a gigbag at some point in it's life. New D'Addario Reg Lites, 10-46 strings. I polished this beauty, and lemon oiled the fretboard, sucked it in like a sponge. Very little wear on the fret wires, and fretboard. This had no case, so I am adding a new Fender (with hang tag) gigbag. I do not have a hardcase that this will fit into. *************** THE SHIPPING CHARGES ARE CALCULATED BY EBAY, NOT ME **************** CHECK OUT THE SHIPPING OF THIS ITEM TO YOU, VIA EBAY'S SHIPPING CALCULATOR.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, IF YOU THINK THE CHARGES ARE TOO HIGH, ***** DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM ! ! ! ******* RECEIVER SIGNATURE REQUIRED ON ALL SHIPMENTS OVER $100.00, ********** IF YOU HAVE AN EXCEPTION TO THAT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM INDIANA RESIDENTS ADD 7% SALES TAX.
