What makes this guitar special:  A cute little Ricky with a sweet, true vintage vibe.  Simple yet charming, this first year of production 420 model is really fun to play & offers a rich, ringing tone.  Professionally set up & ready for action.Cosmetic Condition:  Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some mild finish wear.  There's a very tiny bit of separation between the fingerboard & neck on the bass side, first fret area, but nothing major & certainly nothing that affects playability.  Overall the guitar has a wonderful look to it with a gorgeous patina.Neck:  Slender profile maple neck with thick rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays.  Original frets show some wear, but still have life in them.  Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream buttons in good working condition.  1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.Body:  'Cresting wave' solid maple body with single-ply white plexi pickguard.  Unoriginal Space Control bridge has a cool look & works great.  Guitar weighs a delightful 6 lbs 4.4 oz.Pickup:  Rickenbacker 'toaster top' single coil - 7.58K ohms.  Master volume & tone controls with newer Ric knobs; 3-way toggle switch.  All electronics are in good working condition.Case:  Unoriginal hardshell case included.
